WEDDING CAKE FLAVOURS:

Since many people have their own flavour preferences and no two tastes are alike, the following    examples will give you the mix and match possibilities between the cake flavours and filling flavours.

Since it is not possible to please every one of your guests, either side of the family, friends or relatives, the easiest solution is for you to choose your favourite flavour.

After all, you are the bride and groom and this is your special day!

To assist in your decision making I have listed below some of the most popular flavours for the cake and the fillings.

Everything goes, if you like it and if it’s achievable we will make it, even if it is not included in the chart. Certain ingredients do not like summer heat, so as long as it is possible to make in regards to the environment where your wedding is being held, we can make it.

  Design & Decoration

  • Decide how important the cake is to your celebration. There is a wide range to choose from, all the way from a beautifully decorated showstopper to a simple design…and everything in between. Your cultural traditions, style of wedding and budget will all play a roll in your final decision.
  • Cakes featured in magazines can certainly give you ideas about what you like. Bring these pictures with you or send them through e-mail to us. Be cautious, many of the fancy looking designer cakes in magazines use Styrofoam as a base rather than an actual edible cake. Real cakes may not look quite as symmetrically perfect.
  • You can opt for cakes using real flowers as decoration (most economical) or flowers and decorations made by hand with sugar paste that are edible.

From simple to elaborate, from pastel colours to strong colours, from a classic style of wedding cake to a modern style, from real flowers to hand made flowers or sea shells, all of them have one thing in common, they are wedding cakes chosen by the bride and groom for their most important time in their lives, their wedding day.
